It’s a great time to start a new business.  To this, most people would shudder, “You gotta be kidding”.  Not so if you’re talking to Tony Guglielmo.  Tony feels so strongly about his prospects that after being an owner of RE/MAX Commercial Pacific in Ontario for the past six years, he launched Allied Commercial Real Estate in Ontario just last month.

“I’m optimistic about the prospects for commercial real estate in the Inland Empire despite these challenging times.  The market has stabilized and prices are no longer dropping,” Tony said.  “What encourages me is that Allied Commercial Real Estate is not really a new company.  We have five veteran agents that came with me from RE/MAX and already have 26 active listings.”

Enhancing his prospects, Tony says, is that his new firm minimizes overhead found in larger firms, “so we can afford to put more resources back into the marketing of transactions.  Additionally, because of our size we are very nimble, and don’t have to wade through levels of bureaucracy.”

Tony’s no stranger to the Inland Empire commercial real estate market.  He was born and raised in Upland and now resides in Rancho Cucamonga.  He graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Tony entered commercial real estate in 2000 with Marcus & Millichap followed by a stint with Coldwell Banker Commercial, both in Ontario.  In the interim, he has been active in professional industry affairs, earning the prestigious CCIM designation, gaining membership in the respected AIR (2004), Urban Land Institute, and the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties.  He was also recognized by Real Estate SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MAGAZINE as one of the top age 30 and under real estate agents in 2009.

Having represented buyers and sellers in the purchase, sale, and leasing of over $60 million in properties, Tony has completed numerous recent transactions.  He  represented the Daniel and Marie Conklin Family Trust in their sale of a 16,950 square foot industrial building in San Bernardino.  He also represented the Chino Basin Desalter Authority in their lease of 3000 square feet of office space in Ontario.

Tony underlines that the personal touch is central to his brokerage approach.  “I believe you have to give your clients maximum feedback, including weekly reports of calls and showings.”  He also stressed that Allied Commercial takes pride in its comprehensive training program for new brokers.

Engaged to be married next year, Tony loves playing golf and has a general aviation pilot’s license.
